Contrary to reports, drum'n'bass hasn't died. It has been inhabiting a chart near you courtesy of these London DJs, whose Stevie Wonder piano-sampling Shake Ur Body proved impossible to shift from radio dials this summer.

Both are veterans of the scene: T-Power has a long history in rave and jungle, while Shy FX's 4 Original Nuttah was one of the first drum'n'bass hits. However, their debut album together puts a different spin on the genre, eschewing the usual teeth-juddering beat for party vibes.

Among Spanish guitars, congas and weird Clangers-style noises, there is also an impressive display of vocals and songwriting. The superb Calling conjures up diamond-encrusted high heels and a white staircases - it could almost be a Bond theme - while Don't Give a Damn somehow relocates the atmosphere of 1920s flappers into a jungle club.

Guest singers include Kele Le Roc and the glorious Di and Charmaine. Drum'n'bass for people who don't normally like drum'n'bass.
