Pop review: St Etienne, London Conversations

It tries to link 35 (count 'em) tracks by picking out the theme of London

A best-of but one as artfully constructed as might be imagined of St Etienne - that is, it tries to link 35 (count 'em) tracks by picking out the theme of London. Leaving one quibble: why no place for 'Girl VII' from their 1991 debut LP, which through its characteristically heady evocation of Tufnell Park led in small part to this writer now living there?
