Don Cavalli resides in a tiny recording studio in a Parisian flea market but, like many a European before him, his attachment to the mythic qualities of the Delta blues is total, from the lyrics of songs like 'I'm Going to a River', in which he weighs up the merits of baptism and booze, to the harmonica that spices up 'Vengeance'.
