Back in 1968, would-be solo star Neil Young did a couple of low-key gigs in Michigan to see if he could make it without his former band, the short-lived but influential Buffalo Springfield. Finally, the recording of this quiet moment in history sees the light of day: wonderfully stripped-back renditions of 'Mr Soul' and 'Expecting to Fly' are interspersed with slightly awkward on-stage banter.
